COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES
Tennisbloc is passionate about tennis, but we are also passionate about providing a positive experience for each and every participant we have. In these unprecedented times with the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of every player. Below you will find some of the steps that we are taking to optimize a safe and healthy environment as we all begin to set sight on getting back on the court.
-
Before participant arrival, instructors will wipe down gate entrances, net posts, and benches with disinfectant.
-
Prior to entering courts, all participants will need to have their temperature taken via thermal temperature scanner.
-
We will have hand sanitizer for participants to use before beginning programs or lessons.
-
We will be temporarily suspending interactive drills that require participants to come into contact with one another (such as tennis ball or racket hand-off drills, etc.).
-
All current tennis balls and equipment are being disinfected prior to the start of new programs.
-
Students will be discouraged from picking up tennis balls with hands and encouraged to use only their rackets or hoppers. (Hoppers will be disinfected at each practice/lesson.)
-
We will be encouraging all participants that feel sick or have a fever to remain home to avoid possible spread of virus or other illnesses.
-
Encouraging anyone that is high risk to avoid program activity; one-on-one private lessons make a great alternative to programs for at risk players!
Together, we can safely get through this outbreak and get back to the sport we all love so dearly, staying active, growing our skills, and building positive relationships along the way!
